Park dedicates win to lost friend

Ron Park won the handicapped tournament at Mr Cues II in Atlanta, GA on Saturday.

This unique event saw the 48 player field split into separate divisions for A,B,C and D players. Such notables as Ian Costello, Brian Butler and Jarrod Clowery competed in the event.

Park won the A division and then took on Andrew Jones who won the B division. The C division was won by David Lowery who then took on D division winner Marcia Manuel.

Park and Manuel won and faced each other in the finals. Park would race to 10 while Manuel would race to 3. The handicapped race came down to hill-hill before Park scored the win.

Park dedicated the win to his childhood friend Gary Smith from Danbury CT who passed away over the weekend. "Gary was one of my best friends. We played each other a lot when we were growing up and it is a great loss to his friends and family." Park commented.
