Paul Scarboro Takes Down Field at Brass Tap and Billiards Handicapped 9-Ball Event

The Brass Tap and Billiards in Raleigh, North Carolina, hosted a $65 entry handicapped nine-ball tournament over the weekend of February 22-24, 2008. With a free pig and chicken cookout for the players on Saturday, it is pretty obvious that southern hospitality was high on the roster, as was the great game of nine ball.

The Brass Tap has been a great supportor of tournament play for quite some time and this event was no exception with a total field of sixty-four participants racing to nine for their share of the $4400 in prize money.

Paul Scarboro came out on top in the end and earned $1000 for his play.

In addition, the award for highest woman to finish in the tournament went to Kim Ramsey (Raleigh APA Director). Ramsey took home $100 for her efforts.
