Rodney Paradis wins Seventh “Rack ‘EM Up” Tour Stop

Thank you to Snookers in Providence, RI for hosting the 7th stop of the “Rack ‘EM Up” New England 9 Ball Tour.  Despite the holiday chaos, thank you to all of the players who helped make a great day possible.

Four players came out firing on this December afternoon. Stacie Bourbeau, winner of the November 7th tournament stop, met up with Rodney Paradis. Paradis defeated Bourbeau and earned himself a spot in the hot-seat match for the first time in his “Rack ‘Em Up” tournament history. Todd Nevins was capturing a similar feat on the other end of the bracket, defeat Mark Francalangia to meet Paradis in the hot seat match.

In the hot seat match, the new position of Paradis did not stop him from defeating Nevins in order to earn the hot seat title.

Meanwhile on the one-loss side, Bourbeau was not backing down, defeating Billy the Kid to reach the quarterfinal round. Mark Francalangia did not prove as successful, losing to Rich Minichello.

Minichello and Bourbeau met in the quarterfinal round however, Minichello prospered defeating Bourbeau. Nevins was still hot from his hot-seat match and defeated Minichello in order to advance to the final match.

True to his form throughout the day, Rodney Paradis was able to slightly edge out Nevins in the final match in order to be declared tournament champion.
