Pehlivanović took control late in the morning session with a 5-1 win over Wu Kun Lin followed by a 5-3 triumph over Seo Seoa and 5-2 over Luong Duc Thien. The youngster has quietly gone about his business so far this week and now sees a one-point buffer over Jayson Shaw and Naoyuki going into the fourth day of the first stage of the tournament.

Shaw got the better of Wu, Skyler Woodward, and Francisco Sanchez Ruiz to keep pace with Pehlivanovic. Sanchez Ruiz compounded a miserable 24 hours for Konrad Juszczyszyn with a 5-1 win to open the day before victory over Luong Duc Thien saw the Nineball world number one reach the top of the league table but it was short-lived due to Pehlivanovic’s run. Juszczyszyn started out on top after day one but had a horrible day two, things did get better after a win against Alex Pagulayan kept him in touch with the top of the group.

Oi was one of the final wild cards confirmed and he’s made the most of it so far with a superb 5-4 win over Shane Van Boening to finish the day that brought him above Shaw on rack difference despite being level on points. The Japanese star also saw off Khalid Alghamdi 5-2 for the perfect day.

Woodward has a mountain to climb to make the weekend with the Mosconi Cup star cut adrift alongside Earl Strickland and Luong on three points. Seoa had a day to remember despite being two points off the top ten as she dispatched two-time world champion Albin Ouschan 5-3. The Korean led her opponent 4-1 before seeing out victory when the tide seemed to be turning the other way.

24 matches and 20 hours of Pool live daily from 11 am UK time tomorrow morning on Matchroom.Live, Viaplay, and networks worldwide. Full broadcaster list available below. Coverage can also be found on the Matchroom Pool and Multi Sport YouTube channels in selected countries.

Oi will begin Table 1 coverage tomorrow with a double header against Pagulayan and Wu respectively before it’s the battle of Chou Chieh Yu and Seoa. Table 2 begins with Melling against Luong Duc Thien live on the Matchroom Multi Sport YouTube channel.
