Steven Richmond Wins Port Charlotte All American Tour Stop

The 2012-2013 Pure X Cues All American Tour – presented by the American CueSports Alliance (ACS) – showcased two stops on its final weekend of the 2012-2013 Tour season – one of them being the twenty-forth stop - Q's Las Vegas Warm-up Tournament - at Q’s Sports Bar & Girl in Port Charlotte, FL,  Saturday, April 13.  The $500-added 8-ball handicapped tourney on 7-foot Valley bar boxes drew 27 players.  Five Master entries raced to 6, two women entries raced to 3, with the remaining field entries all going to 4)

The A-side semifinals found master Steven Richmond (Fort Myers, FL) defeating Hal Harvey (Naples, FL) 6-2, and Dave Calejo (Fort Myers, FL) defeating Ken Cormier (North Port, FL) 4-1.  Steven Richmond then defeated Dave Calejo 6-3 to win the hot seat.
 On the one loss side master Albert Baker (Port Charlotte, FL) eliminated Ken Coulter (Punta Gorda, FL) 6-2 at a 7th place finish, and master Bill Morris (Fort Myers, FL) defeated Karen Plazewski (Fort Myers, FL) 6-0 for a 7th place tie.  Albert Baker continued his winning ways, defeating Ken Cormier 6-2 for a 5th place finish, and Bill Morris defeated Hal Harvey 6-1 for a 5th place tie.   In the B-side semis, Baker again rose to the occasion, defeating Bill Morris 6-3 with a 4th place finish.  The B-side finals pitted Albert Baker over Dave Calejo 6-2, setting up the tourney finals match.  In the title match, undefeated Steve Richmond defeated Albert Baker on the hill of this all-master race 6-5 for an exciting late night tournament finish!
