ACS Elects 2012-2013 Directors/Officers

At its recent Annual General Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada, the American CueSports Alliance (ACS) elected a new director to the ACS board.  Mark Finkelstein [NY] (ACS Certified Instructor — Level 4) was elected to a two-year term representing ACS Instructors, while the balance of incumbents retained their seats.

The new board of directors subsequently re-elected incumbent officers: Mike Wilson (VA) — President, Sandra Chamberlain (OK) — Vice President, Julie Ann Mitchell (IN) — Secretary and Tom Fankhauser (IL) — Treasurer.

The ACS sanctions leagues in 38 states, works with the CCS in Canada, produces the 2013 ACS National Championships (May 11-17) at the new Tropicana Las Vegas, the 2013 Midwest 8-Ball Championships at the Riverside Casino in Iowa, the national Lucasi Hybrid All American Tour, supports twelve (12) state and regional championships, certifies instructors and referees, and is a non-profit, national organization dedicated to heightening the interest and awareness of cue sports through the support and sanctioning of organized competition throughout the United States.  Information on the ACS is available at www.americancuesports.org.
