Terry Miller tops All American Tour Stop

The forty-fourth stop on the 2008/2009 Pechauer All American Tour (produced by the American CueSports Alliance – ACS) was hosted at Las Vegas Cue Club in Las Vegas, NV, on Saturday, April 11.  The $500 added event drew twenty-three players in a double-elimination 8-ball format on 7-foot bar boxes.  Terry Miller (Las Vegas, NV) [rated a “5” on a localized handicap system used] was on fire this day as he blitzed the field to claim the hot seat, including a winner's bracket finals decision over Russ Swanky [5] (Las Vegas, NV).  In the winner's semis earlier, Miller had outlasted Randy Kukla [5] (Las Vegas, NV), while Russ Swanky beat Dan Schneider [5] (Las Vegas, NV).  In the loser's bracket, Christy Robertson [4] (Las Vegas, NV) and Rick White [5] (Las Vegas, NV) were eliminated at 5th place via losses to Dan Schneider and Randy Kukla [5] (Las Vegas, NV) respectively.  Kukla then eliminated Schneider at 4th place, but in turn was dispatched to 3rd place by Russ Swanky.  The tourney finals lasted one set, as Terry Miller continued his winning ways to capture the title over Russ Swanky!

By virtue of Terry Miller being the highest-finishing ACS member in the event, he qualified for a free 9-Ball singles entry into the 2009 ACS Nationals in Las Vegas – courtesy of the ACS.  The ACS wishes to thank sponsors J.
