Tiffany Nelson is the Oklahoma State Ladies Champion.
Nelson came out ahead of a field of 34 other players to win the event over the weekend of July 26th - 27th.
Nelson took the hot-seat Sunday afternoon with a dominating 7-1 win over Amanda Lampert.
Lampert went to the left side of the board and scored a hard fought 7-5 win over WPBA Touring Pro Melissa Little to earn a rematch with Nelson in the finals.
While Nelson was definitely the favorite in the final match, it was Lampert that came out firing and jumped to a quick 2-0 lead. That lead was short lived as Nelson came back and both players found themselves tied at 5-5 in the first set of the double elimination finals.
Nelson took the 11th rack, leaving Lampert on the verge of elimination. Lampert fought hard in the next game, but was unable to hold off Tiffany to winning the game and match 7-5.
Nelson earned $750 along with the State Champion Title, while Lampert settled for $560 in prize money. Melissa Little took home $400 for third and Heather Lloyd won $275 and the qualifier for the WPBA US Open.
