Tokoph Takes The Title

Congratulations to Tommy Tokoph for winning the Covid 9-Ball Classic! This was a full 64-player bracket due to safety number restrictions. The event was held at Damifino Billiards in Angleton, Tx.

Great weekend for a 9-ball tournament. It all started Saturday with 64 players. Sunday play featured the last 16 remaining, in the end, it came down to Justin Espinosa vs Tommy Tokoph in the finals. Justin went undefeated all weekend to earn the first spot in the finals. Tommy fought his way through the one-loss side to earn the 2nd spot.

First set seemed to go one way as Tommy won the match 7-0. Next up was the 2nd and final set, games went back and forth with Justin taking the first lead of the match 5-4. Tommy fought back and played meticulously to secure the win with a score of 7-5, double dipping Espinosa. Fantastic match play fellas!

Leon Contreras earned a hard-fought 3rd place with some amazing shooting. Good job by Chris Robinson securing 4th place. Fantastic job everyone!
