The Ultimate 10-Ball Championships was initiated by Badi Nazhat in 2010 with his first major event that was held in Aruba. It was won by Shane VanBoening of USA. The Ultimate 10-Ball Championships moved to America in 2011 with a men's and a women's championships being conducted at the Embassy Suites Convention Center in Frisco (Dallas), Texas.
The 2011 Championships were won by Mike Dechaine on the Men's BCA ranked tournament and Allison Fisher won the WPBA sanctioned ladies event. Runners-up were Jeremy Jones and Kelly Fisher.
Mr. Nazhat has now brought the Ultimate 10-Ball Championships to the Harrahs Hotel and Convention Center in Tunica, Mississippi, close by to the Memphis airport. The 2013 UTBC is a World Ranking Event for the WPA, a Professional Points event for the BCA, and a Classic Tour Ranking event for the ladies of the WPBA.
The UTBC is being run in co-operation with the Diamond Billiards Product's Southern Classic which begins the day after the UTBC concludes at the same venue.
