For the 23rd time, there will be a FULL roster of 128 players competing for the title. The field includes a wide range of talent from the best of the best to those striving to be the best! There you will also find our current 2014-2015 season schedule, results and all other pertinent tour information. Our next regular season event will be stop # 8 at Sharp Shooters Billiards & Sports Pub in Amsterdam NY on Feb 7 & 8, 2015, and our regular season will continue on from there until the end of May. I am currently negotiating another event at Turning Stone which is tentatively scheduled for August 20-23, 2015. I will let everyone know when this event is finalized and I begin to take entries.

 

Big news just in from the BCA. Our event has been chosen to receive WPA ranking points for 2015. Read on:

I want to thank you for once again hosting a first-class event!  I would also like to inform you that the top 32 finishers in your tournament will receive WPA ranking points.  This is a new program for 2015 whereby the BCA has the option to nominate three national events for WPA ranking points.  We are nominating your event as our first event for 2015. 

 

I have copied Ian Anderson from the WPA on this e-mail so he is aware of our decision.  If you have any additional questions, Ian can provide additional details on the points to be awarded – this should be a great bonus for your players.

Once again at Turning Stone there will be a "second chance" tournament on Sunday January 11th at 10AM. This is an event for those Non Pro level players (I will decide) eliminated from the main event. The event format will be as follows: $60 Entry Fee - 32 Player Max - same rules as main event - Single Elimination - Races to 4, best 2 of 3 sets, with the deciding set being a single game sudden death. This means that if each player wins a race to 4, there will be a lag for the break and a 1 game playoff to determine the match winner. Entries will be taken for this tournament as players are eliminated from the main event and will be treated as first paid - first in until the event is full.

 

The equipment for this world class event will once again be 16 Diamond Pro tables covered with 860 Simonis ("The Cloth Of Champions") tournament blue cloth. For just the second time we will be using the new Aramith Tournament balls with Pro Cup cue balls.
