The World Classic Billiards 2003 9-Ball tournament kicks off on Tuesday evening with the opening ceremonies attended by host and sponsor His Highness Shaikh Saleh Bin Muhammad Al Sharqi.
This invitational event, sanctioned by the WPA, features 32 players and stars current WPA World Champion Thorsten Hohmann of Germany, Six-time World Champion Earl Strickland, World Superstar Efren Reyes, fellow Filipino star Francisco Bustamante, Former World Champion Ralf Souquet and defending champion Alex Lely of the Netherlands, alongside a cast of champions from around the globe.
Tuesday Nights festivities will include an exhibition match between old-time rivals Efren Reyes and Earl Strickland.
