The remaining World 10 Ball Qualifier kicked off with 32 players vying for a trip to Manila and a shot at the $400,000 inaugural World Ten Ball Championship.

With $2000 in paid expenses for the winner as well as the qualifying spot, the top 12 finishers will split up $1600 in prize money with the Winner's share coming in at $325.

2nd and 3rd place finishers will get $255 and $200 respectively as well as free entries in The 2008 Reno Open courtesy The Sands Regency Casino.

The four undefeated winner's side players are George Michaels, Tony Annigoni (that's not a misprint!) Mad Max Eberle, and traveling partner Corey Harper of Tiger Products.

Veteran San Francisco Tournament Director Gene Miller orchestrated a perfect event as only his extensive jazz background would allow.  And many thanks are due Chris Swart and Ben Farmer California Billiard Club proprietors who cosponsored the event along with The United States Pool Players Association and Tony Annigoni's Two Cushion Club Management Company.

Many thanks to Raya Sports in Manila, The World Pool Association and Fran Crimi of The BCA for coordinating these events.
