Born November 12, 1968, Johnny Archer resides in Acworth, Georgia with his wife Melanie and his two children, son Lee and daughter Leigh Anne. A four-time World Champion, Mr. Archer also is also an owner of the Marietta Billiard Club (The MBC) on Roswell Road in Marietta, Georgia. One of his partners there is another world-famous polayer, Kim Davenport.

Mr. Archer holds a record 16 consecutive appearnace on the American Mosconi Cup team, morte than any other player from either side. He has won the Joss Turning Stone event four times. He won the 1999 U.S. Open 9-Ball Championships and also won the Enjoypool.com Open (formerly the BCA Open) in 2000. He was elected to the BCA Hall of Fame on the first ballot in 2009.
