The 2010 BEF Junior National 9-Ball Championship kicked off on Thursday evening at the Huskies Den at Northern Illinois University.
The event got underway with a banquet on Thursday night attended by over 250 people including guest speaker Ivan Lee from the Billiards Congress of America and Simonis Cloth.
Product donated by event sponsors were handed out at the banquet and 2009 Winners and World Championship participants were honored.
The banquet ended with a trick shot exhibition by "Dr Cue" Tom Rossman.
The four brackets of the touranment kicked off on Friday with a total of 93 participants. Feature matches in this event will be streamed Saturday and Sunday at www.billiardeducation.org.
