The Junior International Championship (JIC) Tour will be getting some positive attention this Friday when The Today Show is scheduled to feature junior champion D’Angelo “Jaws” Spain and JIC tour director Ra Hanna. Today Show host Craig Melvin interviewed both Hanna and the Spain family for the upcoming segment.
“They reached out to Jawz first and then interviewed me earlier this month.” said Hanna about the upcoming segment.
While a segment shining the spotlight on the JIC could have found any number of young worthy players, Hanna thought Spain was a great choice. “D’Angelo Spain personifies the tenets that the JIC is based on. If you keep your head down and do the work, when your moment comes you won’t have to get ready you, will already be ready.” said Hanna.
The Today Show is one of the longest running morning talk shows and regularly boasts a viewership of millions of people. The Today Show airs on the NBC network.
