Day Two Wrap-Up for Midwest 9-Ball Tour at Shooters Billiards in Olathe Kansas

The Midwest 9-Ball Tour finished out day two at Shooters Billiards in Olathe, Kansas with the $1000 added one pocket division coming down to just two players (initial field of thirty-seven players). Sitting in the winners side hot seat, Buddy Hall has patiently waited for his opponent Mark Haddad. Haddad was sent to the one-loss side by Hall earlier in the tournament and ended up playing Cliff Joyner in the semi-final round. Joyner advanced from his match against Brian Jones in the quarter-finals by a close score of 3-2, but was defeated a second time in this division by Haddad 3-2 in the next round. Haddad and Hall will play the final round of the one-pocket division at approximately 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon (time may vary due to table availability).

The main event and ladies division bar table tournaments started up Friday night and will continue throughout the weekend with 114 players in the open and 20 players in the ladies line-up. The $3400 added open brought in Shane Van Boening, Cliff Joyner, Chad Vilmont, David Matlock, Chuck Raulston, Buddy Hall, Darren Everett, Sparky Ferrell, and Shane McMinn (and many more). While the $600 added ladies division saw regional and professional favorites Julia Gabriel, Melissa Little, and Rhonda Pierce make the trip to take top honors.
