This past weekend Line Kjoersvik furthered her goal of playing again on the WPBA by winning the Hunter Tour stop at Fast Eddie's Billiards in Austin, Texas.
While not quite as demolishing to her opponents this weekend as she had been in Arizona the previous weekend, Kjoersvik still showed the players in Austin why she is currently ranked as the number 1 women's player on the Euro Tour.
Her road to success included defeats over Michelle Yim (7-2), Rickie Lee Casper (7-5), Jillian Valles (7-1) and Sherri Smith (7-3) leading to a semi-final and final against two of the Huner Tours top players, Tara McCracken 5th on the tour (7-4), and Lisa Marr 3rd on the tour (7-5).
After a nearly five year hiatus from the WPBA Classic Tour, it appears Kjoersvik is primed to pick up where she left off in 2003.
