Ditoro claims hometown Miami

This weekend's Pechauer SE Open 9-Ball Tour stop at Sunset Billiards in Miami Florida, came down to two tournament directors facing off for first place; and it wasn't Tommy Kennedy coming away with this win.

On Sunday, the winners side came down to Kennedy and Seminole Florida Pro Tour director John Ditoro. Kennedy took this match with a 9-8 win and made himself comfortable in the hot seat waiting for an opponent for the finals.

Ditoro made the trip to the one loss side, where he scored a hard fought 9-7 win over Chip Klein to earn another shot at Kennedy in the finals.

The final match between Kennedy and Ditoro was another close one, but this time it was Ditoro scoring an 11-8 victory.

Ditoro earned $700 for first, while Kennedy took home $500 for second. Gail Grecar was the top finishing female and for the second event in a row, Anthony Meglino was the top finishing Junior. Grecar and Meglino each earned $50.
