Mighty Sanchez wins The Pechauer Miami – Dade Open

The J Pechauer SE Open 9-Ball Tour held their first event of the new year on the 10 beautiful Gold Crown tables at Sharpshooters in Miami, Fl. A field from all across the sunshine state were in attendance to take their shot at the $1000 in added prize money.

Rick Sanchez took the hot-seat on Sunday with a 9-7 win over Richard Broumpton.

Broumpton took the trip to the west side of the board and found tour director Tommy Kennedy waiting for him. The match between Kennedy and Broumpton was a close one with Broumpton coming out the winner 9-8.

The rematch between Sanchez and Broumpton was another hill-hill nail biter, but this time it was Sanchez scoring the 11-10 win for first place.

Sanchez earned $730 for first place, while Broumpton took home $450 for second. Kennedy and Bryan Davalos filled out the top four spots. Janice Sessions was the top finishing female player and Anthony Meglino was the top junior. Each player earned $50. The Boys and Girls Club of Kendall Florida received $35 from the event.
