The evening rounds at the Turning Stone Classic X are underway and the room is buzzing about Dennis Hatch vs Karen Corr. These two opponents met up last time at Turning Stone and produced a hill-hill thriller. This time things were a little different. Hatch came out on fire and played perfect pool en route to a 9-0 victory.
After the match, Hatch commented that he had never won this event and it was one that he really wanted to add to his resume. "I am trying something different this year. I am not looking at the board and just having my girlfriend tell me when I play so that I don't think about any other matches", Hatch said.
Some early round surprises from Turning Stone include the early eliminations of John Morra, Mike Dechaine and Joe Tucker.
