Thorsten Hohmann

As day two ended at the Second Annual New Jersey State Straight Pool Championship at Comet Billiards in Parsippany NJ, the field was whittled to four players.

The winners side is down to Reigning World 9-Ball Champion Thorsten Hohmann and Tony Robles. They will play for the hot-seat Sunday morning at noon.

The one-loss side is down to Dan Barouty and Jose Garcia. Barouty dominated Dick Lane in his final match on Saturday with an early 55 ball run and then a 72 ball run to end the match. Lane was only able to manage two different 13 ball runs in the match.

Jose Garcia defeated Allen Hopkins in his final match on Sunday. Hopkins was able to run 40 in the match, but Garcia had back to back 65 ball runs to win the match 150-48.

Garcia and Barouty will also play at noon on Sunday.
