Monica Webb came back from the one loss side and avenged her earlier loss to Sarah Ellerby to win the $10,000 added event at Fast Eddie's in San Antonio.
Webb lost 9-8 to Ellerby for the hot-seat but defeated Belinda Campos 7-5 to set up the rematch in the true double elimination finals where she defeated Ellerby 9-6 and 9-4.
Webb collected $5000 for first while Ellerby settled for $3300 for second. Campos and Deanna Henson filled out the top 4.
The event was the second women's event sponsored by Mr T. from New York. He expressed an interest in running more events in the future but no specifics were given.
The event was attended by a field of 32 players; 10 pros and 22 amateurs. The players donated autographed memorabilia and raised money for the Missing Children's Foundation with a charity auction.
