Ouschan earns 2 Gold Medals, so far

The European Championships are in full swing after four days of play and the first medal winners have been determined.

Spain's David Alcaide earned the men's 14.1 Gold Medal with a three inning 125-3 win over Artem Koshovj from The Ukraine. Nick Van Den Berg and Huidje See finished with bronze medals in the event.

The Ladies 14.1 event saw an all-Austrian finals with Jasmin Ouschan scoring a 75-19 win over recent San Diego Classic winner Gerda Hofstatter. Anja Wagner and Kynthia Orfandis took home bronze medals for their third place finishes.

The Men's 10-ball event finished on Monday with Ralf Souquet scoring a 7-4 win over Niels Feijen for the gold. Vincent Facquet and Koshovj won bronze.

The Ladies 10-Ball event saw Jasmin Ouschan earn her second Gold Medal after a 6-3 win over Ina Jentschura. Sabrina Naverschnig and Line Kjorsvik took home bronze.

The Wheelchair 10-Ball event was won by Jouni Tahti who blanked Roy Kimberley 5-0 in the final match. Fred Dinsmore and Tankred Volkmer settled for Bronze.

The 8-ball events are underway in all three divisions, with 9-ball still on tap.
