A new mini event introduced to the Derby City Classic this year is the Seniors One-Pocket Mini. Players must be 60 or over to participate and it's limited to 32 players. Poison Cues added $1,000 to this event and Barry Boney organized it.
In the finals, Jose Parica defeated Sy Brown for the $880 prize. Boney himself finished tied for 3rd/4th.
