It will be Pearl vs The Earthquake in the finals of the Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour event at Classic Billiards.
Strickland is undefeated in this event, but McCready gave him a scare when they played earlier. Strickland was cruising to a win at 7-1 when McCready stepped to the plate and nearly knotted the match at 8-8. Only a missed 2-4 combo by McCready allowed Strickland back into the match where he won it 9-7.
McCready bounced back from that loss and defeated 'The Lion' Alex Pagulayan 9-6 on the one loss side to set up the rematch with Strickland in the finals.
The winner of this match will collect $2500 with $1800 going to the second place finisher.
