The National Championship Series' 14.1 Championship is underway this weekend at Comet Billiards in Parsippany, NJ.
The first round of play is complete with NCS 8-Ball Champion Brandon Shuff proving that he is dangerous at 14.1 too. Shuff drew Carswell Ransom and cruised to a 150-21 victory that included the high run of the event so far of 116 balls.
Other players advancing into the second round on the winners side include Steve Lipsky, Danny Barouty. Dan Louie, Matt Tetrealt, Tom Walter, Bill Dunsmore, Bob Madenjian and Mike Yednak.
