Williams wins Lucasi Hybrid 10-Ball

Charlie Williams

The Lucasi Hybrid Invitational Classic 10-Ball event at Bankshot Billiards in Jacksonville, Florida drew a full field of 48 players looking to earn the $4000 first prize.

To no one's surprise, it was Shane Van Boening and Johnny Archer making their way through the winners side and facing off for the hot-seat. Van Boening had notable wins over Santos Sambajon and Mike Davis on the way to the hot-seat match, while Archer had notable wins over Charlie Williams and Tony Crosby.

Crosby had a great tournament with wins over John Schmidt and World #1 ranked Dennis Orcollo before dropping the match to Archer.

Archer took the hot-seat with a 9-7 win over Van Boening.

On the one loss side, it was Charlie Williams who was cutting a path through the field. Williams had wins over Butch Croft, Dennis Orcollo, Mike Davis and Tony Crosby before eliminating Shane Van Boening in a hill-hill thriller which earned Williams the match with Archer in the finals.

In the final match, it was Williams scoring a 10-5 win to earn first place honors.
