Hatch keeps Joss hot-streak alive

Dennis Hatch

Anymore, it seems that players in the Joss NE 9-Ball Tour are just playing for second place as Dennis Hatch has been piling up win after win all year.

This week, the tour was at Golden Cue Billiards in Albany, NY where a field of 52 other players set their sights on Hatch. Once again, it was all in vain.

Hatch survived a scare from Danny Hewitt and won the hot-seat with a 9-7 win. Next up on Hatch's hit parade was East Coast hotshot Jeremy Sossei, who was riding an eight match win streak after losing to Paul Rozonewski in the second round.

Any momentum that Sossei might have had was not enough as Hatch crushed him 9-4 in the finals.

Hatch pocketed $1700 for first place, while Sossei took home $1240 for second.

The Joss NE 9-Ball tour will be at Snookers Pool Lounge in Providence, RI for the $5000 added 20th Ocean State 9-Ball Championship.

Tour director Mike Zuglan is still taking entries for the upcoming Turning Stone Classic X on February 21 - 24 at Turning Stone Casino in Verona, NY.
