If Alex Pagulayan is going to defend his US Open title, he will have to do it from the left side of the board. Pagulayan started his quest with an 11-6 win over Shen Young Park, but the second round was not as kind to to Pagulayan as he lost an 11-8 decision to Canadian Tyler Edey.

Pagulayan was not the only former US Open Champion to be sent to the left side of the board as Jerry Slivka handed Jeremy Jones an 11-9 loss in the second round.

Top players advancing through the second round on Tuesday included Gabe Owen, Corey Deuel, Johnny Archer, Marcus Chamat, Jose Parica, Tony Robles, Santos Sambajon and Charlie Williams.

Online brackets are updated and will be updated again this afternoon.
