 Mika Immonen will face Dennis Hatch on Friday |
Day one is complete at the Turning Stone Classic IX and the upset of the day was Adam Stanton's 9-6 win over defending champion Johnny Archer. Archer trailed in this match 5-0, but came back to within two games at 6-4 before Stanton regained control for the win. Stanton will face Tony Robles on Friday, while Archer finds himself on the one loss side with a match against Mike Renshaw.
Other marquee matches scheduled for Friday include Ronnie Alcano vs Ignacio Chavez, Allen Hopkins vs Tony Crosby, Mika Immonen vs Dennis Hatch and Dennis Orcollo vs Al Lapena.
