The CSI US Open One Pocket event has kicked off in the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas. Sixty-four players teed it up this morning in search of the Title. AZBilliards is providing live scoring (here) and live brackets (here) of all of the CSI events occurring over the next ten days. We will also be providing daily news of the events as well as photos.
The Rio venue is certainly different from past years at the Riviera. The pro events are all in the same main room as the amateurs and the room is open, airy and comfortable. CSI was held up by several days in being able to do their set-up due to the World Series of Poker running longer than expected. But Mark Griffin and crew worked long hours to get everything in order and we are on schedule now. For the next ten days this is Pool Central USA with thousands of players and fans congregated here to participate in this huge event.
