The 2003 Patriot Cup gets underway this Friday at 6:00 pm with a charity event and 'challenge the pro' matches.
The main event gets started Saturday at noon with Scotch Doubles 9-Ball, and will continue throughout the weekend.
The Fury team from the North will consist of Allen Hopkins, Mika Immonen, Tony Robles, Corey Deuel and Rodney Morris against the Lucasi Team from the south.
The Lucasi team will consist of Nick Varner, as well as Buddy Hall, Johnny Archer, Charlie Williams and Tommy Kennedy.
Both team's captains feel that they have the strongest team and are not shy about talking about it. "We're gonna take another bite out of that Big Apple. And I'll be available for one-hole lessons afterwards." said Nick Varner, Team Captain for Lucasi South. Allen Hopkins, North Team captain, countered with "After WE win, I'll be available for lessons, too. I teach ALL games. And gamble at them too.".
The Patriot Cup will be held at Planet 9-Ball in Tampa Florida and AzBilliards will have complete online coverage of the event.
