The finals of the Straight Pool division at The Legends of One Pocket and Straight Pool will feature Danny Barouty from New Jersey vs John Schmidt from Florida.
Barouty has not lost a match and won the hot-seat with a victory over Mark Gregory from Atlanta and Schmidt handed Gregory his second loss on the B-Side of the board.
Schmidt lost his first match of the event to Johnny Archer when Archer ran 110 and out. Schmidt has torn through the B-Side of the board after the loss to Archer.
When reached for comment before the finals, Schmidt said "It will be a tough match. Danny definitely knows the game. We played Straight Pool up in New York before and I did ok, but this is just one match and either of us can win it."
